HEAT BENDING

ThermoPro can heat bend a thermoplastic sheet to give it a well defined edge. This process is also known as line bending or strip heating. When a thermoplastics sheet is heated to the proper temperature, it can be bent or formed. After the heating and bending the part is placed into a fixture and then cooled. After cooling, the part will retain the new shape. Heat bending is used on a wide variety of thermoplastic sheet such as PETG, ABS, and particularly Acrylic.
